OM4 A1a.3 reelspool networking optic bare multimode bare optical fiber
Model:OM4(A1a.3)
Description:
OM4 MMF fiber is designed specifically for high-speed local area network (LAN), such as Gigabit or higher speeds Ethernet. With the extremely refined refractive index profile owing to the optimized PCVD process, OM4 MMF fiber eliminates the differential mode delay (DMD) phenomenon observed on the conventional fibers in Gigabit applications. Thus, there is no need for expensive CMC compensation.
Key features:
1.Designed for use at 850nm and 1300nm
2.Suit to applications in Gigabit Ethernet and higher bit-rat systems
3.No need to use expensive DMD compensation in Gigabit Ethernet
4.Enabling the longest link distances compared with congener products
5.Good protection and excellent strip force stability
Advantages of Optical Fiber:
1. The data transmission speed using optical fiber cable is very high because of the speed of the light is very high.
2. Any electrical and magnetic interference cannot affect the light, so there is no interference and distortion problem in data transmission through fiber optic cable.
3. The equal quantity of optical fiber is cheaper than copper or aluminum wires.
4. The fiber optics are very thin in size and very light in weight.
5. The fiber optic cable has a very high bandwidth so huge amount of data or information can be transmitted through the optical fiber cable.
6. There is very low loss occurs in optical fiber than copper or aluminum wire during data transmission.
Application:
1.50/125μm multimode fiber can be widely applied in local area networks (LAN), video, voice and data services. It’s specially suited to Gigabit Ethernet(IEEE802.3z)using laser or light emitting diode(LED)sources.
2.Because of the advantages of the manufacturing process (PCVD), such as extremely refined refractive index (RI) profile control, stability, etc., 50/125μm multimode fiber is one of the fibers that offer the highest bandwidth available in the market.
3.50/125μm multimode fiber is applicable in all cable types including ribbon cable, loose tube stranded cable, slotted core cable, unitube cable and tight-buffer cable.
